What does Charlene Trading trade?
Used cooking oil (UCO), crude degummed soybean oil, distillers corn oil (DCO) and other oils and fats, such as canola, tallow and yellow grease.
Where do you operate from?
From Miami, Florida. We are a family business in foreign trade since 2009.
Where do you buy and sell?
Within the United States. We buy from used cooking oil collectors, renderers, crushers and ethanol plants, and sell to biodiesel plants, renewable diesel plants and refiners.
How are goods delivered?
By tank truck or ISO tank, US-origin product, either at the seller’s plant or delivered to destination.
What contract do you use?
Our standard contract, which incorporates the Trade Rules and Arbitration Rules of AFOA (American Fats and Oils Association).
How is payment made?
Cash against documents. Other terms are agreed in each contract.
What paperwork comes with each load?
The bill of lading, the laboratory certificate of analysis and the origin documents that biofuel plants ask for.
Do you also buy?
Yes. If you have oil or fat to sell, write to us with the product, the volume and the city and state where it is.
